Lotus Connections 2.5 - no 64bit support - tivoli

While loading Lotus Connections 2.5 on Windows Server 2008 64bit I ran across an issue with installing Tivoli Directory Integrator ( TDI ). I would get to the install splash screen:

"I would try and click on the IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator 6.1.1 Installer" link and nothing would happen. I would check the task manager and I would see a process running ( I can't remember the name of the process, it could have been either msiexec or java ) but nothing would happen.

I was able to install db2 and webshpere without issues but once I tried to install TDI it would not work. After some searching around for Lotus Connections 2.5 requirements, I found that neither 64bit Windows OS or Windows Server 2008 is supported. Bummer, I guess I should have looked at this first right?  :)

I wonder if Lotus Connections 2.5 would load on a 64 bit Window OS if TDI wasn't installed...
